Research Interests: Symbioses involving algae, peat bog biology, algal evolution.

Hobbies: Paddlesports, snowshoeing, hiking, photography (still fun, though it's now more of a business!)

Current Projects: Photo-documentation of peat bog organisms for a brewing book project, continuing studies on algal biology and evolution.
